March 26For the first time since late October, ten to fifteen minutes of outdoor walking without a coat was completely tolerable. Stepping out from a dim office into sunlight, for a shred of a moment, compared to waking up on a surgeon's table, under bright lamps. Pink petals have already been shaken out of small trees, to mix with last season's mulch.(again, credit to Tom Scocca of the Awl, who I unashamedly stole this format from)
